Thanking Mr. Trump for making US politics so much more transparent than many US Presidents before

Mr. Trump, you threaten North Korea with annihilation because they have developed nuclear weapons. You threaten Iran with fates such as Iraq and Afghanistan which is not much better – because we have accepted not to develop nuclear weapons and have agreed to undergo rigid inspections. Iranians have a joke about such tactics.

With concern for the  wellbeing of the Iranian people as well as Americans, we hope that they reach out to one another and that together they may pave another path of national development, each for and using the resources of their own people and country.

Dear President Trump,

You began your speech at the UN General Assembly by stressing that you put America first and noting that other leaders should also put their countries first.

Nevertheless, you proceeded to talk of Iran and the Iranian people going to some length to appear to care about the welfare of the Iranian people and how their oil money and wealth is used!

Clearly these two parts of your speech were contradictory and appear to have been written by different speech writers.

We ask ourselves if the person who wrote the second part of your speech also cares about how the wealth of the Libyan people is being used these days? And also if he and you considered the wellbeing of the Iranian people when deciding on the Muslim ban, which effected only some Muslims, but certainly Iranian Muslims and non-Muslims!

Mr. Netanyahu too who claimed to be the friend of the Iranian people seems to not  read the articles and speeches of his own advisors and media close to him, both in Israel and Saudi Arabia, which target and display an amazing hate not for the Islamic Republic but for Iran and Iranians.

And finally Mr. Trump, may we suggest that you do not put America first? You put the concern of certain corporations first and believe that these concerns are supreme because they create jobs for normal Americans and so they must go along for any course that is determined for them and “die and kill a little every now and then” in any war which these corporations deem necessary in order to gain new territories and wealth.

That is not “America” Mr. Trump just as your concern for the Iranian wealth is more an interest on how it may best be used by US oil companies.

Mr. Trump, you threaten North Korea with annihilation because they have developed nuclear weapons. You threaten Iran with fates such as Iraq and Afghanistan which is not much better – because we have accepted not to develop nuclear weapons and have agreed to undergo rigid inspections. Iranians have a joke about such tactics which in the original version involves carrot juice. But we share jokes only with friends and so far you have done nothing to indicate that you are a friend of Iran and Iranians and wish to understand the intricate changes the country has and is going through. Should you alter your mind, we may laugh about the joke – together. Until then, we thank you for making US politics so much more transparent than many US Presidents before.

With concern for the  wellbeing of the Iranian people as well as Americans, we hope that they reach out to one another and that together they may pave another path of national development, each for and using the resources of their own people and country.
